90’s Tulu film “Bangar Patler” to screen as part of “60 years of Kasargod Chinna” program.
Tulu film “Bangar Patler”, which is acted by well-known dramatist, actor, director, and former president of Konkani Sahitya Academy , Kasargod Chinna’s to showcase in Big Cinemas, Mangalore on 24th of this month at 10:00 AM Show as a part of his 60 years celebration.
Other film in which he acted ‘Asphota’ and Konkani movie directed by him ‘Ujwadu’ also will be screened at Big Cinemas as a part of the program.
Kasargod Chinna first Acted Drama “Thali Kattoake Thayyar” and thereafter acted in more than 400 dramas in different Languages such as Kannada, Konkani, Tulu, Malayalam and English.
1993’s release “Bangar Patler” was directed by Dr. Richard Castelino, Vaman Raj played a in the title role of the film, sandalwood actress Sudharani, Kasargod Chinna, Sarojini Shetty, Sundeep Malani, Rohidas Kadri and others seen in the film.
25th Tulu film “Bangar Patler”, also had banged National award “Best Regional Film”.
