Tulu films show list, third day of Tulu film festival 2018.
It’s already a third day of Tulu Film Festival which is organized by Tulu Chithra Nirmapakara Sangha (Tulu Film Producers Association).
Today is day of records and awards one of film which is shown today was made in just 24 hrs! And another made Tuluva’s proud by winning National and State level award!
Films screening at Cinepolis, Mangalore.
1. Madime (10:00 A.M at Cinepolis. Mangalore).
2014’s release “Madime”, plot was based on Dr. Vijaykumar Kodialbail’s stage drama of the same name. Film starring Likith Shetty and Ramya Barna and directed by Dr. Vijaykumar Kodialbail. There was news that film will be re-made in Marati languages, but no further information available about the Marati version.
2. Soombe (1:00 P.M at Cinepolis. Mangalore).
Tulu film “Soombe” was released in year 2015, was written and directed by Saikrishna Kudla, Rahul and Sreematha Mukarji starring film entertained audience with humor, but was failed to reach Box office peak!
3. Madipu (4:00 P.M at Cinepolis. Mangalore).
As a Tulu cinema fan, you should not miss to see this film! Film was made all Tuluva’s proud and still making us by screening in several film fests around country. Chetan Mundari’s art film “Madipu” was released in last year (2017) and grabbed State and National award as best regional film award!
4. Yesa (7:00 P.M at Cinepolis. Mangalore).
One more fresh film which is screening today is “Yesa” film was released in last year (2017) and made a 50 days run with genuine audience. Even though film makes you bore with old comedy stunts, direction and acting parts will definitely entertain you.
Films screening at Don Bosco Hall, Mangalore.
1. Thulunaada Siri (10:00 A.M at Don Bosco Hall. Mangalore).
“Thulunaada Siri” is 1976’s released film, plot of the film is focused on folk ritual of Tululandu. Film was directed by K. N. Tailer and produced by K. Dayanand under Omkareshwari Films banner, except one song of the film “Thankarakkana Thaali Bandi..”, The film didn’t do much in Box Office.
2. September 8 (1:00 P.M at Don Bosco Hall. Mangalore).
Yes! We have a record breaking film also in our Tulu Language, Richard Castellano directional film “September 8” was made in just 24 hours! And it’s a world record! Lead role of the film was played by sandalwood actor Sunil.
3. Thelikeda Bolli (4:00 P.M at Don Bosco Hall. Mangalore).
2012’s release “Thelikeda Bolli” was directed by P H Vishwanath, film’s plot based on Devdas Kapikad’s stage drama “Gantetaandu”, film starring Arjun Kapikad and Ashritha Shetty and others, this successful film was ran about 70 days in cinemas around Mangalore.
4. Amet Asal Emet Kusal (7:00 P.M at Don Bosco Hall. Mangalore).
Film “Amet Asal Emet Kusal” was released in year 2012’s, which is directed by Ranjan Raghu Shetty and produced under Yodha entertainment by Surya Menon and Ranjan Raghu Shetty.
