Tulu film ‘Girigit’ completes 100 days.

Rakesh-Roopesh directional super hit film ‘Girgit’ completes 100 days, and still running in cinemas around district.

Roopesh Shetty and Shilpa Shetty lead ‘Girgit’ was released in 23 August 2019 in district cinema centers also UAE, Oman and Qatar. A weeks after the released film got amazing response from the audience and collected one crore in a week time.

Film continues successive run and released USA, Singapore, Nigeria, Kuwai, Israel, Bahrain along with UAE, Oman and Qatar. ‘Girgit’ is a first film to get a screen in these many overseas countries.

Apart from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district with the public demand film were screened in Bangalore, Mysore, Kasaragod, Shimoga, Hubli and also in cities of Mumbai and Gujrath.

“Girgit” produced by Manjunath Attavar, Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Bojaraj Vamanjoor and were entertained audience with their brilliant comedy timing. “Prashamsa” fame Prasanna Shetty penned dialogues for the film, and VJ Vineeth has done screenplay for the film, Music director Joel – Darrel composed track for the film.

Most successful film of the year ‘Girgit’ also lead controversy for mocking judges and profession of lawyers, later faced court order to delete few scenes of the film.
