‘Comedy Genre is a gossip!’ says Aneesh Poojary, director of ‘Daskat’
From headmaster to head of the films, today we are diving through the journey of Aneesh Poojary, who well directed and turned the audience to focus on non-comedy genre, which is approaching 50 days of successful run across Karnataka ‘Daskat’.
Aneesh popularly recognized in ZEE Kannada comedy show ‘Comedy Khiladigalu’ from then he didn’t turned back continued his hard work on writing scripts and stories.
He Worked as associate director acted in Kannada film ‘Kanasu Maaratakkide’. He started his direction duties from streaming platform series named ‘Vanaja’, ‘Maaye’, ‘Giblistic Family’. In Coastalwood ‘Daskat’ his debut directional film.
‘Daskat is a conflict film, have penned storyline of ‘Daskat’ blending culture and nature together, In this film you can see comedy, sad, anger and soft cornered love, movie feels like natural a story line make you feel it’s of one among us. I am happy the way Tulu audience responded to my concept’ says Aneesh.
He added saying ‘Comedy Genre is gossip created by ourselves, Tulu audience have capability to accept any Genre films’.
Kotyappa Pujari and Vijayalakshmi’s 3rd son, Aneesh Poojary born in Venoor. He done his MA in Kannada also Bachelor of Education, for a 9 months he worked in school as Head Master in private school which has 21 teacher and 300 plus student.
‘I want this film to be recognized by everyone, in-fact we have team of eight people who worked lot for a film.” He says.
‘After success of ‘Daskat’ several producers approached me, also we have plan to re-release Kannada version of ‘Daskat’, another Uttara Kannada film script is ready on process’ he added.
