Ammith Rao as the name says immeasurable, he has conquered immense hearts by his dual role and brilliant comic timing in the film Dombarata.

Ammith lead Dombarata which was released on 15 September 2016. He played double role as Govinda and Gopala. His acting and comic timing in this film has impressed the audience. Jugari was initially Ammith’s first signed Costalwood film. Muhurat of Jugari was held on July 9 2015.

Born in Beltangady Taluk he is the only child of Prajavani Senior editor Late P R Narayan and Geeta Rao. He pursued education from Mangalore and Fashion designing course from NITTE. Ammith was an excellent dance performer during his academic years which headed him to open SeaBird a dance troupe with his eight other friends. This troupe has given numerous dance performance in several events and television shows and bagged quite a lot of awards.

From struggler to winner Ammith has carved his own destiny without a Godfather. Year’s back he stepped into the colorful world but his capability were carried away by tricksters. Even then his goals sustained. He commenced his career with Vinu Balanja directorial serial Chitte Hejje. He then showcased his ability in other Kannada serials like Swathi Muttu, Megha Muraari, E Banda, Mynna, Gruhalakshmi and Agnisakshi.

He was popularly known as Muttu in the serial Swathi Muttu. Muthu has been portrayed as a rich looking boy who is dumb. He is a very simple hearted and innocent boy. His character is extremely special, which sets him apart from the rest of the boys of his age. His character as Muttu touched numerous hearts. Ammith plays a negative role in Agnisakshi which is been telecasted in a well-known channel colors Kannada. The show received highest TRPs in the history of Kannada television.

While the small screen industry in itself has boomed over the years. The sparkling silver screen industry attracts many from around the world but sadly only a handful of dreams turn to reality. Ammith is one among those lucky champs whose dream turned to reality. He featured into film industry in a small role in Kshana Kshana. Later on he was seen in films like Kadhimaru, Magadi, Pagada, Bagavanta Kikotta. He has also got opportunity to act as a lead in Tamil film Sembulam the release date of this film not yet confirmed.

Actor who has shown a diverse role of innocence, comedy, villain and a hero has a script in his hand and is all set to direct an Action film. He has been inspired by director Ram Gopal Verma.
