Roopesh Shetty into direction, Tulu film ‘GiriGit’ poster released, shooting begins.
Renowned RJ, VJ, Sandalwood and Coastalwood actor Rockstar Roopesh Shetty to act and direct his own scripted film ‘Girgit’ with Rakesh Kadri.
During the poster launch Roopesh says “‘Girgit’ is a comedy entertainer film; life is ‘Girigit’”. “Earlier we were hosted contest over social media “Guess the Actor”, that’s me only and winners will be announced soon” he says.
Kannada serial actress Shilpa Shetty will be pairing Roopesh Shetty in the film, Comedy actors of coastalwood Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Umesh Mijar and others will be seen in the film.
Muhurat Ceremony of the film was held at Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple, Mangalore. Film will be produced by Manjunath Attavar (Shoolin Films) under Roopesh Shetty Cinemas Banner.
Prasanna Shetty Bailur has written dialogues for the film, Joel-Darrel will be composing Music for the film. Niranjan Das will be rolling camera and Raahul Vasishta will be doing the editing part.
Earlier with directional dream Roopesh had directed and acted in Tulu music album titled ‘Moke’, one of the song ‘College D Onji Ponnu’ has become super hit, later he also directed short film titled ‘Porlu’ .
Roopesh Shetty already acted Tulu films ‘Dibbana’ as supporting role, ‘Ice Cream’ and last year’s hit ‘Ammer Polisa’ as lead role. His forth Tulu film on progress and ‘Girgit’ is his fifth Tulu film.
He also played lead Kannada film ‘Danger Zone’, ‘Smile Please’ (cameo) and ‘Nishabda 2’ and also a Konkani film ‘Ashem Zalem Kashem’. His two Kannada films ‘Anushka’ and ‘Golmal Brothers’ yet to release.
