Tulu Cinema stars Deepavali
Deepavali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated every year, we celebrate with family gatherings, glittering clay lamps, festive fireworks, strings of electric lights, bonfires, flowers, sharing of sweets, and worship to Lakshmi. Some believe that Lakshmi wanders the Earth looking for homes where she will be welcomed. People open their doors and windows and light lamps to invite Lakshmi in.

Realistic Hero, Lead actor of upcoming film “Pilibail Yamunakka” says “Deepavali is the festival of light which brings lot of positivity and nothing more like celebrating it with family. As I hail from Kaup, Udupi, we have a very different way of celebration than others which is called “Mulla Mutte”, where in we collect all the thorns pile and dance the whole night and burn it right before sunrise. This unique celebration at Kaup is my Deepavali from childhood”.

As always going to temple wearing new dress, helping out mom in preparing sweets and food, lighting diyas and well no crackers because I never liked it much.
