Year 2017 Begins with Horror: Tulu Cinema Guddeda Bootha Released.

Sandeep Paniyur directorial horror thriller Guddeda Bootha released today 6th January 2017. Due to unavailability of theater film will be showing in six centers around Mangalore and one center in Sakleshpura. Tulu Industry begins with Horror flick since Guddeda Bootha is a first release of 2017.

Even though film title is quite similar to 90’s Kannada-Tulu TV serial, this film doesn’t have any connection with the serial.

30 lakh budget film Guddeda Bootha was selected for FiLUMS 2016 film festival organized by LUMS Media Art in Pakistan.

Film produced under the banner of of Shri Kateeleshwari Media by Nithin Kumar Paniyur, Nagraj Paniyur, Nitya Admar and Yathiraj Bhat. Film is written and directed by Sandeep Paniyur. Music of this film is composed by Subash Bolar. Sandeep Bhakta, Ashwitha Nayak and Dinesh Attavar in lead roles.

Title Controversy:

Guddada Bhootha a Kannada title was previously registered two years back in Bangalore Film Chamber. However shooting of this Kannada film has not yet been scheduled. Makers of Guddeda Bootha approached chamber with other names but that too got rejected. When nothing worked film was been shifted to Hubli Film Chamber. Guddeda Bootha is a second film to get U/A Certificate.
